It was April 23rd, 2009 – My 24th birthday. A few hours earlier, I had left my high paying job as an investment banker to become an entrepreneur.
I had no job, and no real direction for my life. I needed a goal.
That night, I sat down and made a resolve: I was going to be a millionaire by the time I was 30. And I was going to do it on MY terms.
I had exactly six years to accomplish my goal. And the only way to get there was to build a scalable, profitable business.
I started researching all kinds of business opportunities – everything from dive bars to call centers. I've explored many business ventures, everything from starting a successful internet marketing company to (unsuccessfully) pitching the Chilean government on funding a mining equipment trading platform. I've also consulted for famous investment firms and Fortune 500 companies.
Today, I am the co-founder and CEO of FormSwift, a leading provider of workflow software for small businesses to create and edit legal documents and tax forms. Since we started the company in 2012, we have grown to 50+ people and retained profitability and rapid growth rates
I also spend a small portion of my time investing in and consulting for ventures. I look for opportunities where I can add value through my expertise in customer acquisition and performance marketing. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn
I do not post to this blog regularly anymore, but occasionally with update with a musing or two about the changing and ever fascinating world of business.
